    Default Need some help....

I am unable to submit a ticket to the support techs because my account is free. (It keeps asking for a card and id # I do not have. )

My problem is this: On January 16th and 22nd I recieved E-mails requesting password changes on my account. I have made no such requests and believe someone is possibly trying to hack my account. As it stands my Username still responds to my old password so all seems ok. Everything seems to be in place on my character. Sorry if I seem to be panicing but the e-mails gave me a bit of an alarm.

Don't get too excited. Remember that there are tens of thousands of accounts on
these systems. It is likely that someone with a login name similar to yours (maybe
off by one letter) typed in the wrong user Id, then attempted to do a password
reset before they realized that they misspelled their login (and got yours by mistake).

When you do a password reset, of course you get an EMail at the registered account,
which was yours. But if you don't respond to it, then that's that. So, I'd just
delete that password reset EMail, and get back to whacking Kobolds.

Change your password to something completely different then. Also before you do so, make certain to do a check for any keyloggers on your PC.

I'd not worry about it overly much myself.
