Missed oportunity message how to avoid?

For a lot of monk abilities get message - You have missed the chance to use this - even when one is a heal.. how do I sort?

Each special attack has a chance to miss. Probably at 1% - much like Teleport.

I've missed 3 in a row before. But then, I've gone weeks without seeing the message.

someone told me I had to do a prerequisite for it like what would that be for Ki heal for example??

I always thought I got this when I fired off the mass heal too quickly after hitting the last FoL. Or didn't have enough Ki.

Sometimes it's due to lag and when I hit the FoL again mass heal is available again and I can caste it.

Some funked up lag issues. I usually let everything cool down and wait an additional few seconds before trying to build up a combo again. Let the client and server get back in sync, or something like that.

In my experience aside from lag issues like hitting the finisher too soon after the last combo button, finishers have a cooldown, like if i was trying to spam the burning hands finisher back to back, i will get an error every second attempt, and never if i alternate finishers or hold off on it for a few seconds

Also theres another issue somewhere along the way, as healing ki will sometimes light up after 2 uses of fol, and you'll get the error you described if you try to use it, sometimes after you've tried ot use it and get the error if you hit another fol it'll light up properly, sometimes its lost.
