Default Haste not dispelling Slow spell

Was running Ghosts of Perdition last night and was slowed on my wiz. After DD, cast haste and its icon showed up as usual, but did not dispel the slow effect (both haste and slow icons were present along the top). Cast haste again for good measure, but haste was not dispelling the slow spell effect. Movement rate continued to be impacted by slow.

Does the beholder have an extra special slow spell and I just now noticed it or is this something new from Update 3?

iirc, he casts boneshatter, not slow, which has the same icon and effects, but is not itself a spell effect.

I was no longer taking damage and the icon only said 'slow', but you are right the source of slow was probably boneshatter. Thanks for the response.

This is just a thought, but did you perhaps get Harried due to dungeon alert? The slow effect from a high alert will also generate an icon that looks the same as slow and cannot be cancelled by Haste.
