do monk special attacks *like fists of light* work when using a Qstaff?

since Qstaff is 2h why/when would you use one instead of wraps or kamas?

Fists of light and dark and any of the elemental attacks work with weapons. touch of death, stun fist and quivering palm is unarmed only/

Because you get more STR bonus using two handed weapons, and you get glancing blows. doing damage in an area, as opposed to a single target.

The analagy I use is think of two handed fighting like a shotgun, and two weapon fighting as a machine gun.

Different tools for different needs. Both incredibly deadly.
