    Default Burst Weapons

I have seen several players here extolling the benefits of burst handwraps (Icy Burst, Flame Burst, etc.), but what is the damage modifier on them? I had originally thought burst would not work on handwraps because they do not have a critical multiplier listed on them. Can anyone tell me what their crit multiplier is?

The critical multiplier of all unarmed attacks is x2.

While bursting effects on 20/x2 weapons provide only a slight DPS increase, the particular benefit for monks comes from combining bursting effects with weighted/Stunning Fist/Stunning Blow.

One more question then. If Monks are better without weapons, other than handwraps, why do almost all of the builds for them include TWF? I'm sorry if these questions are a bit noobish but just spent all of my free Turbine points to buy a monk and I want to make sure that I don't screw it up too bad.

TWF works with Handwraps. They even get special benefits when TWFing with Handwraps, they get full Strength damage on their off-hand attacks (other people get half) and they don't take the -2 ToHit that others take. Some of their moves require them to be unarmed (or using handwraps) too.

Because the TWF feats benefit Unarmed/Handwrap combat as well.

Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

don't you get extra attacks from the feats further down the line too?
    ITWF and the next level?

    definitely worth it IMO.

I think this is correct but might as well have confirmation.

This is correct. ITWF and GTWF gives extra attacks, and it does work with unarmed for monks.

The extra attacks have a slightly faster attack speed than recycling through the entire attack chain, therefore adding more attacks per minute/damage per second.

This only applies when standing still and actually cycling through the chains though.
