    Default Wiz/Monk (Pale Master)

    Hey guys

    I'm completely lost when using the Character Planner. Most of the times I find the best help on these forums. So this is where I will try and ask for help.

    Since the new update 3 has made it possible for Necromancers to get a new prestige enhancement: Pale Master, I was thinking that it could be funny to try multiclass this into a death-monk. The Necrotic Touch spell seems quite interesting. However, there are a few things I'm worried about.

    How does Ki and Spell Points work out? Do you get 3 bars?

    Can Monks wear scepters without too great penalties?

    And of course, what starting stats, starting class and how many levels of each class should i choose?

    I'm also a bit worried which race would be the most interesting. I'm tempted to test out the Warforged, mostly since I haven't played it before.

    Please help me out.

    How about a drow 28 pter 13/6/1 lawful neutral wiz/monk/rogue

    14 16 12 16 12 10 level ups into dex

    Dark path......duel vorp kamas, all the hand wrappe, strive for ac. Max umd concentration....play with the rest.

    Finesse, improved two weapon.....pale master two. Something like this would be my start.

    Yes. You get 3 bars. HP, SP, KI.

    Scepter is 'club'. NOT centered weapon. To use KI based stuff, you can use handwraps, kama or qstaff only.

    I've been playing around with the concept for a while, trying to get a few builds going.

    Elf if you have 32 point builds I feel is just a micrometer better then Drow. Even if Drow look cooler.

    DEFFINITELY go darkside. Even if the pale master PrE bonus to negative energy doesn't affect your fists of darkness, you can make your nuking spells 10% better. And yes, casting a spell interrupts any finishing move chains.

    In my early concept builds, I've got a 30 AC self buffed at level 4, but that still doesn't change the fact that I get one shotted far too easily. And that's with a toughness feat and a racial enhancement with patient tortoise animal path. They are EXTREMELY low hit points. And use handwraps!

    Just my experiences and recommendations so far.
