things like stunning blow, are they not so useful at high levels due to monsters being immune or that most monks dont have a high enough wisdom modifier?

1. Stunning blow works off of STR, stunning fist works off of WIS.
2. They are both less useful at high level.
ok that was a typo on my part as i definately meant fist.
the question is why are they less useful? are things immune or people dont have enough wisdom to make them useful? *as in not a high enough DC to get past*
ok thats kinda what i wanted to know
Along the same line of inquiry: Can Stunning Fist be taken as a regular feat after level 6? And I mean stunning fist, not stunning blow which is a very weak substitute
Not to sound crass but when you say "build issue" I am a little confused.
I managed to self stun 3 total mobs last night in Von 1 epic on my barb, I have a self buffed DC 47 stunning blow....
I dont know if the mobs in Von 1 have higher saves then the rest of the epic mobs but I do not see how a monk at least until they fix weighted wraps can even come close to that DC. So if you cant come close to that DC I dont see how you can stun the beejebsus out of everything on epic.
Now if you are talking about the 5% stunning blow proc chance that did go off quite often, often enough I was actually debating dropping the stunning blow feat for toughness.

That way I am seeing it, Stunning fist doesn't become less useful it just gets to the point where lolspamming it isn't useful. From what I am reading, it seems like it's plenty useful if you know where to use it at and your wis is over 30.
I've posted before regarding my attempts at leveraging Stunning Fist and I just can't seem to connect often enough with it to justify even using it. I feel my WIS is plenty high for my level (24-26) at level 11 now. I've tried it on trolls/hobgoblins/giants/priests/fighters/bards/mages/everything and I'd be surprised if it even hit 30% of the time. Even against lower level mobs where you would think it would hit much more often.
I am considering swapping the feat out for something more useful (not sure what).
Maybe I am just not doing something correctly. I am still somewhat new.
