Oh well. I went into a shroud, got into part 4 w/o fire res and fom, and we wiped. You were in too - maybe it was the train wreck you mentioned.

So I just put my own LFM up and completed as expected (rather smooth run). Yes, I did tell casters at the end of part 3 to buff party properly. Maybe I should have told that too on the first run, but it wasn't my run and -mostly- I'm used to run stuff with people that make sure everything goes silk smooth.

Yup. I was there. We wiped for several reasons, none of which were because you personally didnt have the right buffs Was fun though

Pretty much, if you have an evasion type that should be ranging. I cant say its my favorite method though, if they have the hit points to melee they should, if they dont adn fail a save you have to come off the group to heal them. Meh 6 one half dozen teh other i guess.

Actually I was talking to one ex - gf on the phone LOL - no hurry at all, for a good 40 minutes I couldn't do much else besides just hitting accept / decline.

On a side note, I went into a ToD run a couple of days ago. Two caffeine members (one being the group leader), judge tank was a blacksoul's, and we had people from Quantum Entropy, Forsaken Tribe, Halfling Commandos and IIRC Harpers and Black Dragon.
We wiped at judge because no one tossed a dw. Needless to say what was the general vibe about whose fault it was. Of course, everyone had the class to not make anyone feel bad about it because, after all, this is just a game and, as I always say, it happens.

Yup i heard about that. Hard to see a group, solely wiping because there was no dw thrown. I have been in many tods where nobody threw dw. Level drains only effect one person at a time. Maybe 2-3 people get neg levels before dw gets out in a worse case senario. I would say there were other factors at play, though I dont want to get into a discussion about it here as its prolly not a good place for it. And yes my guilds full of n00bs.

I will say, I dont depend on anyone to fill my buff bar for me. If i need something, I ask if i cant get it myself. If I forget poison and madstone up, I say im a n00b someone hit me with a poison. Its my responsibility to make sure I have the buffs I want.

All that said, when I run a raid with new peeps in it, i tell them what buffs theey need, after that its up to them to make sure someone gives it to them. I know some groups sit and throw every buff before engaging in battle, but not all of them do, so it ultimately falls on each player to make sure they are ready.

The first thing I do when I go into the judge's area is click my 2nd DW clicky, just in case someone forgot to cast it. Just like I autoclick it when I see caskick(sp?). The first one gets used at the beginning of part 1.

On an average day I may or may not wait for that long. Unfortunately, my friend called to say she was about to lose her job. Not the kind of conversation you would rush or not pay full attention to.

As the saying goes, "the pure and simple truth is rarely simple and never pure", so you're right there. I'll drop the ToD subject since you feel this isn't the proper thread. I just remembered the run and mentioned it because of the similarities.

Well, in late night pug shrouds I do sometimes, when the servers are down, when i dont pay my internet bill, and when i paid a bunch of money to (ie school)

freedom of movement, neutralize poison, disease immunity (item not buff). GH will help your saves if it matters as well

No reason to be sorry for anything though. As you will learn, most of my rants are for fun, and when they arent, they turn to for fun quickly

I'm pretty squishy, but in my failed PUG Shroud last night (which, by the way, had some of the best DPS I've seen in a shroud PUG pretty much ever) I got to hear 11 dings before my squishy character managed to teleport out.

Um...let me point out to OP that while yes the casters/clerics should have buffed you...the fact that you went in without the needed buffs and should CLEARLY know better makes it just as much your fault as the newbies.
