    Unhappy Jungle of Khyber - Someone has rocks in their head

    I just took a solo walk through Gateway to Khyber and found out that they apparently changed the area by the first shrine. You had best have a REALLY high jump to get back over the wall.

    It was a challenge before but the rocks that used to be there to jump on are gone and I could not get back over the wall. I know my poor cleric has a poor jump score but it looks like you might need 15 or higher Jump now to get back up.

    That really sucks!!!

    The shrine be privledged for the club hopping crowd now - str melee and arcane - clerics please refer to Turbine store should you wish to replenish mana.

    That sucks.

    On the other hand - find a +10 jump item (level 9), and carry a stack of level 1 jump pots.

    That alone should give you a 20, and take off your fp to get rid of the -8 or -5 or whatever.

    Carrying around 2 items just to get to 1 shrine in one quest is lamesauce however.

    • Turn and face the sniping drow ledge from the shrine.
    • Look to the right where there is a fairly obscure rock sticking out.
    • Jump on that as a stepping stone.
    • Jump to the top of the ledge and be on your merry way.


    Did this as a character with a jump of 4 last night.

    Jump items do not stack with the spell (or potions of) Jump.

    thankfully they DO stack. The only special thing for jump is that it caps at 40

    Really? They never used to. Well, at least the cliffdiver lucky charm from CO6 never stacked with the spell on my oldschool fighter... My apologies if they do stack now. News to me.

    They've always stacked. Since closed beta.

    And yea like Mrcow says.. Obvious rock is obvious.. Use it to jump up and any noob can do it with 4 jump skill.

    We made the jump last night with everyone. Grabbed the ledge with fingertips and up. No one took their armor off or anything of that sort. Might have been some jump potions used.

    For those (Clerics) who wish to be able to Jump like jack rabbits:

    Jump Potion (+10)
    Jump item (not clickie) (up to +15)
    Heroism Potion (+2)
    Voice of the Master or Prayer Spell (+1)
    Divine Power if you do not already have a +6 Str item. (+3)

    (that's a +31 to your Jump skill by self buffing)

    And as any frat member knows: naked people Jump better.


    Add FF and Haste pots for flavor.
