New Ice Recipes for Named Wraps?

As for the recipes how do you get them, are they random or you can choose? Also how come it applies as just Frost on the devout but the proper Icey Burst on the non named?

You need recipes 3, 4 and 5.

3 = adds cold touch to any random weapon
4 = upgrades cold touch to frost
5 = upgrades frost to icy burst

If you already have a frost weapon, you can use recipe #5 to upgrade it to icy burst. Or you can take an item without frost/icy on it, and add cold touch, then upgrade it.

I assume the recipie is gotten from the coins? What type and how many for what?

Is there a post about the Ice coins rewards somewhere that I have missed?

As Cedwin said, you need the appropriate recipes. These are somewhat randoml obtained via the NPC Jack next to the Ice areas.

As for why my Devouts were only Frost and the non named was Frost Burst, it is because I only have up to Recipe 4 (the Frost only). Whilst the non named has used up to Recipe 5 (Frost Burst).

Ah thank you. So it's a random 'drop' from a turn in of coins?

I'm new to 'crafting' so one you have these recipes, you just add them to the stone of change and item and it's done. No need for components, etc?

Double click on the recipe, it'll tell you what components are needed.

For the frost ones, it's just one weapon, 100 motes of winter, and the recipe card.

Yep, you get a random number of them for turning in coins.

Well..if your using your devout handwraps to bypass DR on the end game boss stuff..Arri, Horoth, The Judge, etc. The ice is not not going to do you much good at all.
