Default For those who say epic is too much of a grind

Obtained from 3 runs within 24 hours.

    That is all.

This is more of a motivational, "progress can be made" more then anything because Argo is afraid of epics.

I think you may have won DDO.

That's like running through every Reaver's Refuge quest once, then getting each exact dragontouched rune property you wanted on the first try.

Thanks! Yes, I'm trying to encourage more people on the server to do epic stuff. It's not that hard, and it really can pay off. Especially if you get on a lucky streak

I wish epic was more of a straighforward grind and not so random.

A bit of randomness is fine. But desert has SOOO many freaking items, that getting the correct shard is some utter ********.

I've run some 30+ DQ2 Epics. Between another a few friends that run them regularly, I believe we have lead some 90+ Raids. We kept careful track of what dropped and what didn't.

In all of those runs, 1 spell storing shard dropped. The guy who got it never crafted it.

So 90 x12 = 1080 pulls.. Sub 1% chance for that specific shard.. Blah.

And the fact that today, some 3+ months since the desert epics were released, there are still several items that no one in the entire game has crafted is insane. Because it's definetely not from lack of effort or desire. I was dying to get that bloody whirlwind (tell it finally showed up on the compedium and we know it sucks now)

Freakin 24 hours lucky sonof.... Took me somewhere around 2 months to get my Xuum shard after already having 3 scrolls and 2 seals of it

To give people an idea of how much **** you will find before you get a match of 3: After about a month, my large ingredient bag was full of unmatched seals/shards/scrolls.. I bough a huge bag,, today that bag is nearly full (400 slots!(!@)#!@)

Well DQ2 droprate gets increase later today at least

Yep, the timer for an epic quest is 16 hours. Though I don't do all my runs on the same character either.

Your post has not convinced me that epic is so easy to get what you are looking for.

Granted you need to be running it to be in the chance of getting what you want.

    Gratz
