Shroud - my funny bug

Today I played my first atempt at a shroud raid.
I stated I was new to the raid, and concecuently, i received very good advice from the more experienced players that were on the party. I figured thats noteworthy, since i read a lot about how ppl dont run this quests with Unguilded/new players, so this guys were pretty cool. We wiped, tho I dont think it was my fault (something to do with deception weapons being used against the big dude on phase 4, and im a sorcerer using potency and ice lore items atm)
Anyway, something very strange happened on phase 2 (i think it was phase two). We were having problems with that part, ppl kept on jumping the gun on the named mobs, and we had to start over and over again. At one point i got the agro from the earth ellie and it grabed me. Funny thing, when the grab reached 0.00 on the timer, i was able to move allright, but the ellies fingers were still wraped around me. It continued all the way to phase 4, and once we wiped and rezzed out, i was dancing in the middle of the portable hole...wraped around in the everlasting massage of the named earth ellie.

yeah, it went away as soon as i relogged. ^^

Tho it was pretty distinctive, I should have stayed on a while longer. XD

yeah I figured, I've never seen it happen with earthgrab, but I've run my bard around town with my a graphical bug on before because of masters touch.

Ha! so masters touch does that buggy thing of keeping the animations on?? good to know XD

Yeah, i swaped my expeditious retreat for it a couplle of days ago, and I think I used it at some point during phase 2.

hehe, that even explains this afternoon's infinite displaicement XD

Its especially good when you get stuck with something like Ice Storm vision permanently.

You may have a point there, but then again, I dont think I was the only new guy to the shroud in that group...and when all members headed the advice of the more experienced players, we moved along just fine.

I may have to run this thing a couple of times (I do need the ingredients, so Im sure i will ^^) to discriminate good advice.
