I was working up a pure 20 Kensai fighter in a character planner, and had hoped to use the 3 Halfling Dragonmarks + Empower Healing to fill in all those extra feats.
However, I noticed immediately that even though the Dragonmarks were chosen in the planner, Empower Healing (or any metamagic, for that matter) did not become "exposed" to purchase.
Is this the case in game? In order to apply purchase a metamagic, do you need to have Magical Training (and in the case of Empower Healing, cure spells)? Or is it a flaw in the planner, and in game Empower Healing does get exposed when you take a Halfling Dragonmark, because the game is sophisticated enough to know that metamagics may apply?
I wouldn't be interested in it if I couldn't take it with Empower Healing, and there isn't any 2-multiclass with fighter that would be the least bit appealing (paladin, rogue, or monk) that would get to a level that has Magical Training (paladins don't get spells till 4). So, if anyone knows for sure, please let advise before I get my hopes up and dive in and have to respec immediately. Thanks!
