    Default Build help...

Does anyone have any build suggestions for a 28pt Elven Rogue/Barbarian that specializes in quarterstaff combat? So far I am at level 5 (3 Rogue/2 Barbarian) and it seems to be going fairly well. I need a minimum of 12 Rogue levels to get Thief Acrobat II so that leaves me 6 levels of wiggle room. I don't plan on taking any more barbarian levels but I may add a level or two of Monk or Fighter. I'm an old time PnP player (2nd Edition rules) but new to DDO so any advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

can't multiclass monk/barb in DDO. some fighter levels would definately throw some feats your way if you need them tho.

I suggest using a character planner for any character you plan to take to 20.

a 12rogue/2 barb split leaves you 6 levels to work with, which gives you some room to take a 3rd multi. 13 rogue gets next step up sneak attack and another special ability, so that would leave you with 5 levels of 3rd class multi.

if your looking to be more of a rogue/strict dps i'd look at 18rogue/2barb. if you want more feats/hp's/don't mind losing skill points you could look at some fighter levels and weigh the pro/cons.

Thanks for the information and advice! I may throw in a few fighter levels as I have a feeling that I may wind up being a few feats short in the long run.
