Default Things not to Brag about when Your Guild is running a Raid. . .

I joined a PUG shroud yesterday, mostly one guild . . .and the first thing I hear is :

    "I can raise 7 people in a minute. . . ."

And then he really went into detail about it like it happens on a regular basis. Prob best saved for guild chat.

Never trust a party where the cleric has Raise Dead scrolls hotkeyed.

No, never trust a party where the Cleric is muttering that they have to rummage around in their backpack for a RD scroll when **** gets tight.

I always have Raise Dead, RD scrolls, AND True Res (and scrolls) on my bars..... even if I don't need them often.

Having them on your bars is one thing, having them hot keyed is another

Having them on your bar is different than having them hotkeyed though. That just means you don't have to find them in your bag. When you have your raise dead scroll hotkeyed to an easy to hit key like E that's when something is wrong.

I will admit that I did have to move my raise dead scrolls to a hotkey when learning Abbot last night though

    Ouch....

Seriously, who even mems Raise Dead anyway once you get past like level 12 and get Ressurection... (and if you have level 9-12 clerics running shroud with you, more power to you...)

    Merfolks is Foreplay

And another thing that doesn't bode well is:
    "We've recruited 75 people in the last 2 days. . ."

Which is why when we ran a late night vod and didnt see anyone on we knew ungrouped, we chose to 4 man it rather than pug the rest.

New signature line... Thanks Hex! Yeah, maybe we could start a thread with comments you've heard when joining a group that make you wanna drop.

Stuff like "Last time we completed this it only took 93 minutes, but we haven't been able to finish the last 3 times."

I hate to see what pug shrouds are gonna be like in another day when the raid is working as intended.

Thanks again for sharing the funny.

I always ask for Merfolks when pugging and someone asks if anyone wants anything. Over half the time I get it.

About a quarter of the time, I get laughed at, like I am joking or something.

About an eighth of the time, someone says they don't have it loaded, or wonders aloud if we need it before the first shrine, or offers to recall to town to load it up.

And about an eighth of the time I get ripped into by someone who figures I am a total idiot. Those are my favorites

One time someone said, 'Oh wait, I have a clickie here somehwere', and dropped a Grease, which caused him (and him alone) to slide into the fire trap on the way to the last cave in Gwylans. Good times, good times........

Darn it! Now I'll have to hold on to at least one of those wands. Should make 3rd part of Shroud easier for you.

Not a good sign, that's for sure.

I'm more impressed by the folks who can accept their raise and be able to raise somebody else

Out of curiousity, was the shroud run smooth?
