Improve Protection of the Blades

I capped the warforged favored soul this weekend only to come to the full realization of how poorly that at-will spell compares to the others... it just doesn't make sense to have unlimited access to a 40 min buff.

pretty lame. however, the shield spell is pretty awesome for a lot of builds. so what if we removed the self-only tag from the fvs version of this spell? If I could cast it on the entire party suddenly it's kind of a cool enhancement.

I'd be open to other suggestions if anyone else has a thought.

I think it is a modest capstone that could be improved with "always on" so I don't have to remember to cast it, or have a slot for it in my hot bar, yet still acts like a shield spell (no MM, +4 to AC, etc).

The real advantage for the WF is that my DR stacks together, so I can take out 15-DR from most mobs right off the bat.

If they let it be cast on others, they would switch it to Divine Shield. House J buffs used to include shield cast on others at the 75pt tier...and it got nuked. I am guessing they wont let that happen again.
