Default 20th Completion End Reward list for non-Raids

    Here's my idea:

Implement a 20th Completion End Reward list for non-Raids that have named loot in them. Have the list consist of equipment roughly equal to the quest level plus include some or all of the named loot found in the quest.

This idea stems from me farming both the Temple of Vol and the Cursed Crypt about 100 times each and not pulling one of the several items I want.

The reason why this is balanced for raids is because they can't be run 20 times in a row just to get the item you want in an end reward list. Quests don't have any kind of timer, so all you'd have to do is run it 20 times to get your item, that'd take what? A day, maybe two? How would this be applied to quests like Gianthold Tor and Litany of the Dead? Would Dragonscales and Tome pages be included in the list as well? Or just the named items? Seems a bit too easy to me either way. You want the item bad enough, you farm it or pay exorbitant amounts for it on the auction house.

Yeah i'm with Sirea on this. Raids and quests are two differnt beasts. Befor way back 20 completions didn't give you a list of raid loot so one should be happy hehe

Well, 20 runs of a quest is a pretty weird benchmark. What I would do, instead, is have named items have a small percent chance to appear in end rewards all the time.

A while back they upped the loot level of end rewards, because people (rightfully) complained that the reward for finishing the quest was less important than a single chest inside the quest.

Now that randomly generated loot is back to sucktastic level... it would make sense to buff end rewards up with small chances at named items to at least give them the same benefit as chests in the quest.

True, but if they did implement a change like the OP suggested then you'd probably have people crying for them to have end reward lists

    veto.

You want a certain item from a certain quest, I would suggest taking a friend or two through the quest with you so your chances of named loot improves =)

Then you'd best hope your friends are nice enough to give it to you =)

Yeah... When was the last time you helped a friend farm an item that is selling for max plat (roughly 4-5 times a Large Devil Scale) on the AH and were willing to hand it over if you pulled it?

As a refinement to the idea, I could get behind a "Ransack" list. That is, a list that only comes up after you have "repeated the adventure too many times" and the loot is all either BTC or BTA. It limits it to once a week, binds it, and only comes up if the quest is played 10 or so times in the period of a week.

I still think something like this should be considered.

We could plow Xorian 20 times in a few hours and get a gird or chaos guards? This would be the easy button.

No way turbine would go for this. One of the things you can do in this game is work really hard to get that Docent of Defiance that you want. It takes time. The more time it takes, the more reason you have to pay your subscription fee.

If they gave you everything you wanted on a set schedule, you'd be geared and ready to get bored with end game content too fast, and turbine might lose a customer
