    Default Drow spell resistance

    Is a drow elfs starting magic resistance considered it's base? Meaning, does it stack with spell resistant item or spell?

    Spell resistance saved my backside till about level 6. Then creature ratings are high enough where they have to roll so low (probably an auto fail 1). The benefit is basically negated at level 9 when clerics gain access to spell resistance granting 12+1per level (so, 21 to start).
