+2 Tomes

In the DDO Store catalog it says that I can buy +2 Tomes at level 1, but can only use them later at level 7. When open the Tomes section of the DDO Store in-game however, it says "There is currently nothing in this section that fits your class or race....." or something like that.

Is this a bug, or just wrong information in the DDO Store catalog? Will I be able to buy +2 Tomes when I reach lvl 7? Furthermore I'd be glad if someone could tell me the *exact* prices for each Tome. The DDO Store catalog is very unspecific.

Logged in my main and bought them, and then sent them to the toon who i wanted to use them. they are bind to account. (I bought the supreme +2 to all stats, so i'm not sure about the individual stat tomes)

I'm planning on getting +2 to all anyways.

There is a mechanic in the store that doesn't list items which your character couldn't benefit from/use, to avoid new players buying things they can't use and get upset about it.

(no matter how many warnings you put, very few people pay attention to them. Sort of having them type "I understand I am a moron for purchasing this which I won't be able to use" for each such purchase, nothing will get through and they'll still buy it and be upset about it )

In the case of +2 tomes, you CAN use them at level 1, but they won't give you ANY benefit. It is only until level 7 that you would see the +2 suddenly take effect. Since you won't get ANY benefit, why bother buying them before you're level 7?

If you absolutely want to, you CAN get one of your level 7 characters to buy them, and then use the shared bank space to pass them to one of your level 1s. But again, keep in mind they won't benefit from them until they themselves are level 7.

+1 and +2 tomes are not available for purchase on Korthos Island. Once your character makes it to the Harbor, you should be able to buy them. Let me know if you still have problems once you get there!
