Default New Feats: Dieharder and Diehardest

Instead of using 10 points as in Diehard, your constitution would be used instead if you also have Dieharder(or Diehard 2). So if you have a con of 30, you will gain in effect 20 hit points before you die, equating it nearly with the toughness feat.

The natural extension for diehardest is to add your con to the 10 original points. Thus if you had a 30 con, you could go up to 40 pts negative before dying. This would not be quite as good as the toughness feat.

Improving die hard is an interesting idea, but adding more hp is not going to make it any better. Once you're unconscious, you're as good as dead anyway. Toughness would make you last longer AND let you keep on fighting.

A better feat would let you go farther into negative hp, but it would also have to let you recover before your entire party got killed, and make you come back to consciousness with enough hp not to die again instantaneously.

Instead of -hp increased before death, why no add +hp when you regen to wakefulness. Instead of coming back with 1 hp, instead come back with 10% of your total hp for diehard, 20% for tier 2, and 30% for tier 3.

And then, of course, Die Hardest IV, the feat which allows you to destroy a helicopter in mid-flight by crashing a car into it.

How about Die Hard With a Vengeance: 1/rest player can summon Samuel L. Jackson.

    I lol'd irl +rep

To OP: I actually think it'd be pretty cool. It would be decenent for soloing if you have a mishap and drop unconscious.

The idea of diehard is to live and be able to drink a potion or heal as soon as you can, a feat that restored you to such health after being unconsious would be more aptly named, "Livefree".
