I have 2 hard drives, my C drive with my OS on it and some utilities etc, and my F drive which has everything else on it, including DDO. My F drive died. I decided to just install DDO on my C drive instead and deal with the dead drive later. But when I try to install DDO it it only gives me the option to uninstall or repair a broken install, not make a new install. If I try to repair it it only refers to the install on the now-inoperative F drive with no option to repair (create) an install on the C drive, and if I try to uninstall it says the drive cannot be accessed. If I try to use the windows add/remove software function to remove DDO it says it cant access F/ddo/uninstall, which is obviously not entirely helpful.
Obviously there's something on my C drive telling the DDO installer that ddo is on my system somewhere, and I need to find it and kill it before I can reinstall ddo on my c drive. So the question is does anyone know what I need to kill, and where? Is there a ddo scrubber program that will do it?
