    Default please try...

First and foremost please consider adding a directnal compas for the map.
this would make it much easyer to "talk" a lost player in a quest.

second and this is just a idea...a warforged enclave, its only fair as every other race (except drow) have a home (and its my understanding that the drow hail from the wilds)

finnaly is there any way to further enhance a charictors apperance? you know maybe allow for differances in height or weight or the ability to change your armore/robe/outfit/docent.

    thanks

Directional compass would be helpful for some but the WF enclave doesnt fit the world they dont have their own homeland(well I guess you could count the mournlands with the lord of blades if you wanted to) they are created and so have no homelands.

it is hard to get "some" players to follow directions and depending on the dungeon and specific location up may not be north. but its just a idea.

as far as a wf enclave its hust a sugestion. not sure how many ddo players play the pnp game still, but wf (in pnp) have wards in most citys, and they also have numerous differant body styles

also when are the "lost" race going to be added? you know shifters...

A compass of sorts, I wouldn't mind one of those. It has gotten to the point where I'm typing the direction of east (--->) and west (<---) with the directional arrows included because far too many folks don't remember them well enough to be trusted at times.

How about flares? We can fire them up and lost players can find their way.

Maybe DDOGuard - Rescuers on dragons who will fly out and pick you up. I will see if Kevin Costner is available.

OOH!!! The next level of house P favor gives you another trinket. You click on it when lost and it summons a GM with a "Help! I've fallen and I can't get up!" message! If they approve you for the pendant and DDOCaid turns you down, you get it for FREE!!

That said, putting N,S,E,W on the compass would not bother me. Just don't expect it to solve anything. People too dumb to get "east (--->) and west (<---)" won't get a compass either. Ignorance is curable, stupid is to the bone.

I have to agree. I mean it's a simple thing to remember which is west and which is because it spells "WE". I mean if someone doesn't know their compass directions then they need to go back to 1st grade.

I have to explain to people sometimes.. turn until the little arrow on your mini map is pointing UP, that means you are facing NORTH.

Some people just can't seem to grasp the concept of how the mini map works.
