Install off old DVD and update?

I have an old install DVD for DDO Stormreach....Can I just install that from the DVD and then run the updater? or do I need a fresh install of the whole client for the free unlimited play?

FYI to anyone after me: It did work just fine to install from old DDO Stormreach DVD and let the updater run. I got through the tutorial mission, but its still going to create/validate 4.89GB of game info.

So I dunno how much time it saved me, but the validation process is going fairly quickly as I type this.

I just reintalled DDO with the old store-bought DVD and it works fine. It was about a 6 hour update process, but worth it for me to resolve the issue I was having with the downlad manager ( I had the thread posted right before yours ).
