    Default Prestige Classes/Enhancements

    Hi All,

Im currently working on my first character, which is a rouge/ranger atm. 1st level starting off as a rouge.

What im looking at is the enhancements Assassin/Arcane Archer/Deepwood Sniper, each requiring prerequisites.
But when I select Rouge Move Silently for e.g. the ranger option is removed. I assume this is to restrict people from choosing multiple options, or do the abilities apply for each class/stack?

They don't stack, you can't take two skill enhancements from multiple classes, so there are some specialties that mutually exclude qualifying for each other.

If it makes you feel any better, combining Assassin with AA or DWS is an ineffective choice. It is also minimally useful to train Assassin if you'll have fewer than 18 levels of Rogue. In fact, since this is your first character you should be warned: Ranged combat characters are a mistake in DDO.

The developers are somewhat committing false advertising in the character creation when they put out 2/3rds of the Ranger paths as based on ranged combat.
