1) No i did not log out, then back in, she declined me before any tells were sent
2) The white lines were guild chat, and a friend logging on, i would have shown the tells and not the name

You know, i was starting to feel bad about this, and really, just 2 minutes ago i was looking for the loreseekers website to make an apology to you all. the tell i sent was not some super-bad tell with foul language putting the lfm poster down. It was (Word for word) "I guess a ranger with prolly the most DPS in the party and 575 hp isn't good enough" thats it.. was the lfm a little much? i dont know, it could have been, i have just been getting tired of all the ignorance towards rangers/pallys ect...

After she declined me is when i sent that ONE tell.. and why i was just logged on is because it was my ranger's 40th shroud, and i wanted to see if she was off timer to run it. Is there anything else that you want me to spell out for you, and explain it?

I do hope this is a misunderstanding and/or can be resolved. I'm familiar with all persons involved and have never had any problems with any of them. If my thread is needed to work it out so be it. I'd rather see this resolved than worry about my thread.

Hordo, i'm going to tell you what happened step by step, so there is no confusion

1) My ranger's 40th shroud comes into mind, so i log in to check her timer (Hence why i was just logged in)
2) I put up an lfm for shroud, no comments in the box
3) I see your wife's lfm and click to join, taking my own one down
4) After about 30 seconds of waiting, she declined me
5) Then i sent the tell "I guess a ranger with prolly the most DPS in the party and 575 hp isn't good enough"
6) She replied back, i have forgotten what she said
7) I still wanted my 40th completion, and i put a shroud lfm up with "I guess rangers aren't considered DPS" in the chat box
8) It was all done there (Hence why i didn't take a screenshot of the tells, Why would i need them? i thought.. i took a screenshot of the lfm because after i clicked join, i thought of this ranger hate thread and wanted to share my experience and show an example)
8) I post the screen shot here, feeling the OP's pain. Why do you think everyhting was whited out? The screenshot you quoted was completly anon. and was not out there to put down the leader of the party. You were the one who made everything public)
9) You come and berate me on the forums.

Last night around 6:00 is when my guild leader talked to me. He said that after talking to you again, you said that it was more my tone of voice in the tell, than the content of the words. You can stop making stuff up to just protect your reputation

At the time I thought it was just a misunderstanding (not worth recording ) or perhaps mauvais was afk when you sent the request to join and you were tired of waiting for an accept/decline (we have all been in that boat)

I am going to go out on a limb here and ask
Is it possible that perhaps Both/all of the people involved over reacted to the situation
and took offense where none was intended?

I understand that you felt slighted by the decline
I also understand mauvais was insulted by your tell
I also understand Hordos response (who would not rush to the defense of their spouse)

for the good of the friendships of all involved I think it would be best to resolve this even if its only to agree to disagree and move on

I have run with you and your guild mates many times and would like to be able to continue doing so without having this cloud over our heads

1. It sounds like there is some level of misunderstanding here, as opposed to intentional bad behavior and subsequent denial.
2. Hordo is a man of his word. I don't know many people who will put their Fu Manchu on the line for a PvP match, then follow through with shaving it off upon loss of the match. I have no reason to distrust Sweyn, but I have yet to see him shave off a huge chunk of facial hair to remain true to his word... so Hordo wins this category, hands down. In other words, if it comes down to reputation to settle this, Hordo will win flat out, no contest. Something to consider.
3. Sweyn, you're talking about Hordo's newlywed wife. Back when I was freshly married, I'd track you down to your house and rip your balls off if I thought you were challenging my wife's integrity... even if I knew she was wrong. In other words, what was typed matters very little. What was interpreted/perceived (by Hordo's wife) is what matters. Therefore, instead of arguing over what was or was not said, there may be more win in discussing what was intended to be said.
4. Just in case anyone is curious, my financial situation has improved over the years, so I now employ someone for any scrotum separation work I need done.

I actually thought about making a post on this topic today. Its sort've a pet peave of mine in game.
I'm no vet, I'm still learning ect but when I see these lfm's ommiting classes that could fill the roles they have advertised, it usually makes me think that the leader doesnt know whats going on at all and just doesnt get how ddo works.
Most of the time when I notice these groups its when I am on my cleric (as thats where I see alot of lfm's highlighted for me to join) and I take a pass, since the leader has obviously not spent any time learning about the classes, and is trying to go for some type of efficiency that exists only within their mind...if they have that kind of attitude then I'll return the favour since its obviously not a fun group for people to go and play in and I can be "more efficiant" someplace else, where I dont miss out on meeting good players who happen to have enough levels in one class to get a specific icon rather then roll with the fighter that cant do jack because they spent every feat on toughness, but hey, at least he has a fighter icon unlike that stupid rogue who can vorpal while using straight dps weapons and keeps using heal scrolls on me when he isnt busy tanking red named and self-healing.

Er I guess I should have read the entire thread before participating in it. I am going to slowly back away now.

I am sorry but you need to promote the channel if you wanna see it really in the light it was made to be. Now if you were an artist would you prefer to perform in front of 4 people or in front or 50+? This is why trade channel and forums are alot more enterteining
