I guess I am lucky and don't play for the exact best builds, but the reasons I play are slowly being taken away (e.g. 3.5 rules). I won't play D&D 4.0 either, so I guess no more D&D for me.

I don't play MMOs, but I do beta test some games. Yeah, STO is not that great so far, but probably because I can already role play a red shirt in DDO.

I can't say I blame you, and this game takes its toll on everyone.

I kept going pretty strong through the years but this game has lost its luster for me as well.

I will never be as good a player as you, or have a toon anywhere as good as any of yours but it has always been an experience running with you.

I saw in guild chat when the "ring" incident hit and you logging off shortly there after... The last thing I would have thought of is you calling it quits.

To some of you posters who expect the typical "Khyber drama" on this one, I'm glad you will be disappointed.

In the Hand of The Black Tower we have some of the best players in the game... no brag just fact (I'm not saying I'm one of them either). There are also some of the greatest people you will find in or out of game.

Having said all of that, you won't find a better player or a greater guy than Mith. He doesn't tolerate fools well, but is one of the most patient players you can find to educate and help new players to the game. He is one of the most honorable people you will find in game, and I'm guessing that out of game is no different.

If anyone else wants to get on the "don't let the door hit you ..." please drop me a line, I'd really like to meet you...

HoBT, as a group, is one of the most consistent and dependable guilds on the server. You get a HoBT member in your PUG, that's one player you know will pull their own weight and more. This is one area where their guild is very unique: unlike most guilds, which have a healthy mix of superstars and mediocre players, HoBT is unusually consistent. Their players are, for the most part, all within a very narrow window of playskill (very good to excellent).

I think the right way to phrase this is that they have a very high average playskill with a very small standard deviation. I consider that a compliment. Those with an understanding of those terms will see why such a statement is in contradiction with the above-quoted ass kissing.

Sorry my comments gave you a "stinky" ... I guess I'm missing the contradiction. My point was that HoBT is a quality guild and that Mith earned officer status inside a quality guild due to his personal qualities - I'm sorry you read it like a$$ kissing... I've always said the same things about Q-mart, etc ...
