Sorry to see you stop posting, but i can understand your position.
Most of the arguments arent even interesting anymore.
If turbine could take a better stance on showing new players how to play this game in the smallest way it would make life easier for everyone.(and maybe they could make 35$ on a fancy guide)
It seems without new and expansive content, races, or classes all that is left are a thousand dead horses. At least we could get a new crop to beat them with

The OP does offer many positive and well received, informative postings .. but he also has a bad habit of talking down to people and blatantly insulting others.

His "helpful posts" don't give him, or any one else, carte blanche to be a jerk.

The OP needs to suck it up, not blame others for his outbursts (something children do) and remain in the community with the understanding that NOT him, nor any one else, gets special privileges to repeatedly break forum rules.

Furthermore - it has to be obvious to everyone here that if he wasn't breaking rules he wouldn't be getting reprimanded.

He has his Rep turned on so obviously he cares what the community thinks of him .. so working within community standards shouldn't be a big leap.

Again, he wasnt banned .. He's just pouting because he can't get his way.

Would you be saying the same thing if the subject wasn't a message board, but, say... tax dollars? The only difference between what Aranticus is doing and what the Bostonians did during the Boston Tea Party is that this isn't nearly as important. The oppression is the same, though. There is absolutely no reason for the way Turbine is handling this.

You speak of forum rules, but of the government made a law saying that you couldn't speak out against the government would you be upset? Or are you just a mindless drone that's willing to accept anything somoene in authority says no matter how oppressive or demeaning it is, like you seem to be here?

Your guides are very helpful to new people (like myself). If you are really concerned about bad advice in the forums your best bet might be leaving them here, because trust me, people will soon realize who knows about what he's talking about, and who doesn't.
If you are going to take them down, then please try to have them added to the compendium or the wiki. They are helpful indeed.

SHUGAR stated in his first post that he is leaveing due to repeatedly tryin to fight the quote unquote good fight but getts the naughty stick from forums moderators cause all the nubs an true f2p that started playin for first time ever when f2p came about are tryin to tell all us 3 year + loyal plaers how to play an givein miss advice to the f2p that really want to learn an contrubte to game.

Being from Khyber and playing with you over the last 3 years I am sad to see you leave the forums. You have helped me grow to become the player I am. Your advice has always been spot on to me.

I can understand your issue with the moderation. It's not only on the forums but also in game. I know someone got a 3 day ban for typing "I am not an A-Hat" unedited in a chat. I mean come on don't they read... to me that means someone called him that and he was responding and got a ban cause he was reported.

Turbine really needs to step up to the plate and realize that the community has changed since Sept and it's not really for the better. Some people do things to get their kicks by ruining others fun. If they let these people do their thing and get good people to stop playing/posting here what is this game going to come to?

I'm sorry you feel that the forum guidelines are getting in the way of your opinions, however your contributions to the community do not give you the right to come up with your own set of rules. There are many posters that are capable of giving constructive feedback to players that they disagree with or feel are incorrect, and they manage to do so within the forum guidelines. It's unfortunate you feel the need to rob the forums of your presence and your helpful guides, but we'll be here if you change your mind.
