Win 7, 64 bit

I have windows 7, 64 bit, and when i start the launcher, nothing happens. I tryed all the compatibility modus, but nothing helps . Anyone els was able to run the game with this OS ?

How did you get it to install? I am having issues with it trying to install the .net 1.1 framework and need to get past that to get the game installed. I have found out that Win 7 is natively built for .net 3.0 but if everything worked the way it should it would be backwards compatable right?

Can we get some DDO support as this is the 5th or 6th topic I have seen with issues related to Win 7, and over 2/3 of the posts are based on the installation error of .net 1.1?

Is there a place I can download just the game, not the installer that requires .net?

Am I going Loco or should I just get smart and go buy another copy of XP and hope its compatible with my hardware? Ok Im just ranting now...

ok i have win 7 i downloaded it and it was working fine then i went on a couple hours later and is no longer working. when i log into the launcher it starts the cinimatic with the red smoke and then stops working

Try turning off the cinematic in your userpreferences.ini for DDO. Also check drivers for both your video and sound cards. Can we have a dxdiag?
