Indeed. I think if the devs actually let us have that then there would be a bunch of players crapping their pants and naming the result “Bono”.
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
- Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
- Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
- Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
- Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
- Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.
Objects in Compendium may be different than they appear.
I would expect that.It should have a +6 Resistance bonus to saving throws, based on the +3 bonus of the original.
The Compendium doesn't seem to handle newly created item mutations very well all the time. Strange.
I dont understand some things there either.
The Chained Soldier says it uses Strength +4 for attack and Damage
Does that stack with the +6 enhancement?
does it mean its attack is (STR modifier+4) that with a +6 enhancement becomes equivalent to a +10 weapon?
Is the damage (STR modifier +4) multiplied by 1.5, for it being two handed?
or are those things a mess made by the compendium?

So you're saying the info regarding these new items in the compendium is/can be bunk? /sigh That is unhelpful to say the least.
Just think of how angry everyone is going to be when they THINK their SOS is supposed to be +10 and it is +6.
So does anyone have a screen shot from Lam on these? Since we can not assume the game feeds from the compendium are accurate. /cry

No. You misunderstood his post.
He is saying the compedium simply copies data over from live and puts it together in a similar format. However it cannot always handle brand new effects that aren't yet in the game, and as such leaves those out, making the description for some items inaccurate, such as the Kundarak Warding shield, which will have Resistance +6 (an effect that otherwise does not exist in the game currently, so when the compendium seems, it leaves it out)
You can see the same issue on other items, especially ones with new click effects. See:

This item actually has in addition to the listed effects Greater Inferno IX clicky. As that is a relatively new effect which doesn't exist in the compedium, it doesn't show up.
What this means for the sword of shadow:
It's just a hint that like the shield, it's more powerful then it appears there as it has another effect that currently doesn't exist in the game. All the effects listed are 100% accurate, it just may have then what it appears to.
Those figures are not of any value to us. Just put there to match the ingame format.
What they are is your BASE stats, not including much of anything like items/feats.. And the bonus they give when usign the item.
In this case it means the Axe uses Strength as it's attack and damage modifier (same as any axe) and the person currently wielding it has a score of 18 (+4) in that category. These figures are extremely bugged and do not understand the penalties for TWF or the bonuses for THF, and just list the base amount as if it was a 1handed weapon wielded alone (despite the fact you can't wield it as such)
All this means that the test character the compedium uses for import is gimped.
