    Default Feats to burn

I'm ready to level to 18 as a pure fighter and there really aren't any feats left to take. I have 3 left. Does Least Dragonmark of Passage stack with striding boots? I am thinking of taking the 3 dragonmark feats of passage. Or 3 more toughness slots. Or diehard mixed in with any of those. Advice? FYI - already have full TWF chain, imp crit, etc.

18 gets you a feat.....19 and 20 no feats except for the capstone stuff..

    i think total 18, 19 if human?....20 if TR?

He's a fighter ... get two feats at 18 and one at 20. (one regualar and two fighter bonus).

For the OP I do not know what you have already what I would do if I were you is look at other pure builds around the forums and see what they have ... as for me I have a human pure level 20 fighter and I wish I had even more feats. Am sure you have your PA and all the dps stuff...

i.e. SA chain... some people think meh, especially on us Kensai - until they're chasing something in epic. Improved trip - higher DC means you trip oranged nameds they stay down longer and the cooldown is faster then any other tactic - trip one a few swing trip the other and yet another before the first mob get back up , Stunning blow, lightning reflexes, iron will ... believe it or not pure human fighters can make saves even when some buffing wear off... Quickdraw to switch between a weighted maul and back again to khopeshes...

Toughness.....toughness....toughness...or, Power attack(if you dont have), or take another Improved crit line....like piercing or something....never know when you will find a good weapon and wish you had a better crit range for it.

But me, I would take 3x toughness if you are sure there is nothing else you need.

Quick Draw? Lowers the activation time on boosts AFAIK
Cleave/Great Cleave? After being forced to take Cleave on a Barb .. I like hitting it when surrounded by mobs
Dodge/Mobility/Spring Attack? DDO mobs are pretty mobile, adds an extra +4 TH for a lot of swings

Other that that, it is hard so say without knowing what feats you have exactly. Did you take Khopesh, OTWF, all the weapon focus/specializations?

Remember 2 of those feats will be class feats. One at lvl 18 and one at lvl 20. A lot of the feats being thrown around in this thread will be unavailable to you unless you can change some feats around.

Knowing you current feats will help people make recommendations.

I have toughness, TWF chain, 2 weapon defense, OTWF, Im crit slash, Wp focus slash chain, Wp spec slash chain, stunning blow, iron will, power attack. I've gone kensai with scimitar as my weapon, am human.

I'm too dumb to have CE, so improved trip is out. I did a lot of reading on cleave vs stunning blow when I took stunning blow and it seemed that the discussion on these forums was that it was pretty useless for twf because it messed up the attack chain. Since then I got a paralyzer and I never use stunning blow now, so I might switch that out as well.

I've considered another improved cri, was thinking pierce, but I rarely use my returning daggers. Probably not enough to take a feat. Bludgeon for undead seems equally superflous because with Kensai bonuses I do more damage to skels with them than when I switch to maces. Granted I have much better scimitars than maces.

To a novice like myself, I'm not sure how useful the +4 attack would be vs the benefits of the extra HPs (heck I just ground out 150 Arg favor for 10 Hps). Also with my gear specs, I have on FF boots and don't have an expiditious retreat item (both ring slots also taken, str +6 and invaders ring) so that is why the dragonmark of passage seems attractive (and the DD could be useful).
