    Default Metagic Multiclass Enhancements

I have tried searching for this, but have not seen it addressed. Each class that casts has metamagic action point enhancements such as improved empower, etc. Do these stack across classes? I really have no idea as in general passive enhancements tend to stack more than others, such as elven arcanum with class specific SP increases, but in the case of metamagic enhancements I have a feeling they may have intentionally kept that from happening.

If anyone knows this definitively, and lets me know, that would be wonderful.

I believe taking the enhancement line in one class locks you out of the same-bonus line for the other class, in the same way enhancements from various classes boosting the same stat [Bard Charisma and Sorcerer Charisma, for example] lock each other out. Never multiclassed a caster before though, so I don't know "for sure" and I'd wait for a more experienced player to affirm before taking my word for it.

Your example is correct. Because those are both class enhancements they dont stack. Class and Race enhancements do stack however. ex: Elf Dex and Ranger Dex

In game it wont let you take enhancements that wont stack, so there is no need to worry there. If you are just browsing the enhancements in game, anything that colapses under the same heading wont stack. ex: Bard Charisma and Sorc Charisma would both be under the same header Stat: Charisma.

Thank you. As I said in OP I had a feeling it was something like that. Thanks for clarifying.

The enhancements do apply when casting across classes however.

So my now dead elf sorcerer cast maximized cure lght wounds from her paladin levels with a slightly better than 1-1 return of hp for sp. 35 for 26 I think or so.

And a variety of other multiclassed toons without vowels thnk/r/s/rbll/sgmp
