share plat between characters

could we transfer plat to a shared account between all of our characters on a server?

this has probably been suggested already but i'd really like to see it implemented.

Either that, or up the amount of Gold you can transfer via Mail. Right now it is hard work to send 2 or 3 Mio gold to another Char.

I think it was set up this way as a means of limiting play farmers.

But now that Turbine has taken over the Plat Farmer gig and become the new drug dealer on the block, i see no reason to not be able to have communal plat.

Hell I figured that the Report Gold spammer was to keep them OUT of our games not implement them by becoming one of them. What gives?

Just asking, why would? I use the hagglebot to buy everything also, even on the AH for the other characters. Only sometimes a 9999p transfer for the repairs...

I prefer having it on my main since it doesn't do me much good on the hagglebot.
I do keep enough gold on the hagglebot to deal with any purchases I would like to make on him, but this isn't much.

Auction doesn't depend on haggle so I use my arcane main for that (since Teleport to the Rise of Phiarlan brings you conveniently 10 steps away from the auctioneer) and my other regular purchases aren't big enough to warrant relogging to the hagglebot.

I don't play a healer so I don't have to buy crazy huge stacks of heal scrolls, and can self heal so I'm not constantly buying 100 Cure Serious potions, etc.
My daily expenses are usually just topping up reagents every now and then, and buying maybe 1 or 2 items a day that catch my eye on the brokers which usually requires immediate purchase. Relogging to the hagglebot would not be worth the tiny savings on the reagents, and would probably cause me to lose the item from the brokers (and I find after extended sessions logged in, relogging is slow).

I don't do a whole lot of buying with the hagglebot, just selling. Generally when I use him, all I am doing is gathering up trashy chest-loot items from a filled shared-bank space (switching back and forth, since I usually sell around 50+ items at once) until he can barely move, trundle over to the brokers, and sell it all.

Not everyone has the shared bank account (even if i think this is one of the most convinient features for a VIP :P) And sometimes it is to much hassle to change toons to buy some more Heal Scrolls, especially if the group is waiting. And sometimes you dont have time to change toons because you found someone selling 20 Large Bones for 2 Mio Gold...

Actually, my point is that we should have an ACCOUNT gold total. Just take all the gold all my characters have in my account, and give it to the active one. Whichever account logs in, gets all the gold. This would make gameplay / character management SO much easier.
