Paying VIP with PayPal?

hello,
sorry if this question was asked already 1000 times before but:

i wanted to buy VIP and i wonder if its possible to get it with paypal?

all i can find are options to "Activate Product Key" (i guess this would be a serial nr when i bought the game in the stores. but even when i buy the game at the store, i would need a way to pay monthly fees without credit card) and the option to pay with "credit card".

maybe i just cant find the right area to get D&D with paypal.
it would be nice when someone could tell me if its possible to pay with paypal.
and if yes a little step by step guide what i should do to get it.


again sorry, i guess this is asked quite often (but still i cant find a good answer for this).
(and i am from germany if thats important to know for billing.)

Yes, please! I do not own a credit card, and I would like to make my account VIP. I would love to know how to do this with PayPal...

Also, my housemate offered for me to use her credit card, but when I went to put the details in, Turbine only seems to allow American, Canadian and Mexican credit cards? Can we please extend the list a bit? I'm Australian, but I bet there's a lot of annoyed Europeans out there too.

Please. We WANT to pay for your game. We are loyal customers - the only thing we don't have, is access to the VIP status!

In regards to the VIP access thingie... I heard a rumor that your accounts department will make exceptions from time to time? As in: Allow you to set up a direct access bank account or something?

I don't have access to international dialling, so I can't call or fax... But I sincerely wish to upgrade to VIP, and I know there are plenty of websites out there (PayPal being just one) that allow secure credit-style transactions with minimal or no fees to sender or recipient...

Your game is fantastic, but it could be better. I am not in any way badmouthing DDO - in fact quite to the opposite - I just believe your account settings pages need updating!

Oh, also... I've been through all your FAQs, and there is an issue with my account page - none of the optional links exist, and there's only space to input an American CC ONLY! Driving me insane!

So sorry to rant and vent, but it can be frustrating trying to level a pureclass sorcerer with a f2p account!

Sorry to reply to myself but...

I just had a chat to a mate, and he told me that some stores are still selling physical DDO time cards? Is that true, and do you have a retailer list for Australia?

If I can't do it via my account panel, I'll be happy using a time card.

It was 7pm here when I posted. But thanks for the concern.

As this sticky notes, if your country doesn't appear when you click "Get Unlimited Access" then please try to add your card first by clicking the Payment Method button on the blue bar at the top of the Account Management page.

We can't take direct from bank accounts, and we don't have any way to process payments from bank account numbers. However, we can accept debit cards linked to an account if they have a Visa or MasterCard logo.

I have heard that PayPal has some sort of credit card type thing they can set up for you. Not sure how that works, you'd need to check with them.

Here's a sticky with Game Card (TC) info. In Australia you should be able to purchase them from PayByCash.com - they are an authorized retailer of our game cards. As far as physical stores that may carry them, we don't have a list of the retailers because it is up to the chain or individual stores as to whether or not they carry the cards. They may have Ultimate Game Cards, which can be redeemed with PayByCash for DDO game cards.

The GTC sticky will also mention that we know some players don't have an option. If that's the case, then just email Accounts after you purchase one and they can manually update your account the first time. You'll then be able to add the GTCs after.

Also, my little beholder buddy tells me that you have an email into the Accounts department. I'll ask someone to respond ASAP.

hmmm... somehow i cant find a way to pay for D&D from germany.
-i dont have a credit card. (and no idea how to get some "limited creditcards" or such things)
-paypal doesnt work.
-gamecards seem not to be avaiable in germany.
-the same unavaiablity with amazon/"ultimate game card"/and this web -> http://www.paybycash.com/ddo/codelist.php


so, does anyone know a way to pay for D&D from germany?
atleast i cant find something up to now :/
