Would it be better to take a fighter level over the ranger? You'd get one more feat in that way and all you would lose is a favored enemy, bow str, and some skill points. Just a thought and was curious as to the reason for the ranger level.

Mostly wand usage.

If you think another feat is more important than being able to use various ranger wands, then yeah, it works fine.

This build has low Chr. UMD also doesnt help at the low levels at all.
