The problem is that with new mechanic in ToD it will make it a virtual ghost town. So, buying ingredients at this point is time is silly since we don't know if Turbine will rethink this change in Horoth's Blasphemy or increase drop rate of ingredients to make the grind be worth. Either way, I hope you get a fair price for the blood.

Exactly. IF turbine's "dramatically" increased drop rate makes it fairly easy to get ingredients the value of this blood is fairly low. IF turbine's "dramatic" is not so dramatic, I doubt anyone but a handful of powergamers will continue to populate these quests at all.

Either way, its a fool's purchase to buy it now unless you assume the low end value

I guess the players can be happy that the Pitfiend in Tower is not casting the Blasphemyspell in 3.5.

According to his Hitpoint and Hitdice alone the spell without banishing effect would easily wipe all good aligned characters insta dead without saving throw.

If you wanna farm the rings you need out of ToD in future its too have or not to have. That simple.

And right now its one of the rarest drops in game, so if you have the feeling that you dont need its your own decision.
