    Default Gianthold relics

In the process of trying to get flagged for the raid in GH, I decided that I would occasionally peruse the AH for GH relics in an effort to avoid having to spend my entire life in that area.

And while I can find them for sale readily, I don't want to bankrupt myself in the process. Seems someone keeps putting up the same sets of GH relics in 10-group increments and asks something like 38,000 platinum for them. Individual relics often sell for 5k plat each.

I'm all for making a profit in this game, but I don't know anyone who can afford to pay 5,000 platinum PER relic. I'll pay 1k or even 2k for a relic. But not much more than that. Plus, I don't need 10 of any of them at this point. And I can't imagine why anyone would buy them in groups of 10, unless your intention is to just skip adventuring in the area altogether, which seems kind of silly.

So, to whoever it is that keeps posting the same items over and over again. Get the hint - no one is going to buy them. If you want them to sell at all, consider reducing your price, and break them up into small units. Maybe vary it a bit. I think you'll have much better results.

While I agree the price is somewhat high, I don't judge him/her for selling them for what they are on the AH. It is amusing whenever somebody complains about the price of collectible turn ins on the AH when they WANT them, or suggests that their selling "scheme" is somehow flawed. Unless your buying them, how do you know they aren't selling? Get the hint?

Somebody has done the work for you, either pay or grind them yourself. I assume at some point, you'll complain about the price of Taps as well. You have to remember this server is somewhat new. It's not like Argo/Khyber etc....where you have a long time established player base that has more relics then they care to have.

Secondly, some long time players would rather just simply buy the relics then grind for them, then run the 3 flagging quests/Tor. Though, it's incredibly easy to farm once a week. Two named slayer area encounters are easily ransacked in an hour and will net you a fair amount of relics as one drops in each chest.

Also relics drop from the Rare Encounter chests in the Explorer zone for Giant hold as well now, making it a lot easier to gather up critical masses of the relics than it used to be.

I don't know for certain that they aren't selling, but it seems like a reasonable assumption given that the same sets of 10 relics keep showing up at the same price point again and again for 3 day auctions, and they remain at the same start price until the bitter end. Perhaps the auctioneer sells one of them occasionally, but I find it hard to believe that, on Cannith, there is a large demand for them.

All I'm suggesting is that they would sell if they were cheaper.
