One of the funniest TS ever, someone joined in on a Taank. I can't remember his name, but it started with an S. He was outkilling Taank and it was funny. I think Taank was mostly hamming it up, but he was talking a mile a minute and we were all in stitches. My sides hurt by the time we were done I was laughing so hard.

Taank was only that far ahead of people for a very short time, and I think it had something to do with him having a good build, haste pots / demands for haste and one of the first vorpals.

I had as many kills as Taank on a TS run with a non vorpal'ed Ranger one time and I KNOW that Gorm (for those who remember him) could outkill anyone, including Taank, but I'm pretty sure Gorm was a Dev or found a way to hack the game, because he seemed to move at about twice the speed of anyone else and could complete Wiz King in about 10 minutes or less.

Taank was one of the better tanks out there, but what made him enjoyable to team with was his accent and personality.

Why do you even bother discussing our old Xoriat with anyone else... they don't know, won't know, can't understand and will never.

It was a completely different world and style compared with Thelanis.

There are a lot of great players from Tharashk and Thelanis and there is no debating that, but the style and attitude on Xoriat was much more angry, antagonistic and unforgiving.

It was a much much more harsh landscape... a big time Darwinish, strong survive and the weak go to other servers to get their hands held.

Back then, there was no holding back on noobs and newer players had to grow thick skin and fast or they would never get on teams. We would rather short man anything there than pick up puggers, or we would take puggers and if they died, squelch their whining and move on.

Non-Xorians will never understand and it's a waste of time even mentioning it any more. It's good for us to remember and chat about, but from what I've seen, the average player in game now on Thelanis would have not survived there, or maybe would have grown up.

The closest I can think of as an analogy would have been that movie "300".

Anyways...

Not saying it was any better than any other server... it was just different and I enjoyed it.

...one does not have to have lived in a sewer to know they are full of $h**! I know having your trashy server deleted due to the embarrasement is was, must be hard on you, but you have to admit that combining with Thelanis was truly an amazing experience in server upbreeding for your kind.... I know I enjoyed watching it all take place... besides, your women make great tavern sheet warmers!!!
