It was where I got my ring of 5/day Divine Power RR halfling while playing my halfling wizard. Was a rather nice find =)
Other notable items were a 5/day lesser restoration goggle, 5/day Haste goggle (mmm! tasty toy for alts!), and a few other things I've forgotten but tossed up on the AH.

I pulled a +6 dex ring and a +5 Protection ring out of there before...I wouldn't say that its always trash when I see those come up.

IMHO, the turn in for exceptional weapons is too high for what you can get. I've had the best luck with the exceptional shield turn-ins. I've gotten a couple +4 and a +5 mith tower shield and a +5 mith lt shield that went on a spellsinger.
I'll have to try the jewelry next time I'm turning them in.Per Cocomajobo - Ranged has easy access to AOE - apparently 3 feats, BAB 11 and Dex 19 is considered easy access these days. post here
