Default Warforged monk AC with docent question

I am thinking of making a warforged fighter with 2 levels of monk. I am going to stick with composite plating. Here is my AC breakdown.

    Dext bonus +6
    Wis bonus +6
    Bracers +8
    Composite +2

If I wear a docent +5 will this make my total AC = 27 ?

    Please let me know. Thx.

    Nope.

The composite plates and docents give you the same type of armor bonus that bracers do, so they won't stack.

You'll be able to wear Chaosguarde bracers though, and that AC will stack with your plates and docent.

Also important to note is that the dragontouched docent is a +7 docent with whatever abilities you put on it, giving you a total armor bonus of 9. Only competition with it for top-end docent is the docent of defiance, which is +5, and the quorforged docent of battle, which is also a +7 (total) for a total of 9.

Wow I am confused now. Is a +5 docent considered AC therefore if I were to wear AC bracers +8, I would only get +8 (the higher of the 2 and not get the benefit of the docent?)

What is the composite plating ? Does it stack with everthing else?

Composite is +2 and is condsidered armor so you would only get +6 from the bracers since they are +8 and you already have +2

Body + Docent = Armor Bonus
    Armor bracers = Armor Bonus

The docent basically works as an enhancement to your inherent body armor (+2 for composite in your case).
Armor bracers do not stack with the composite plating, so the best you can get out of them is +6 over your base AC.

These are base numbers, not including dex, deflection, dodge, etc.
If you only have a +5 docent your armor bonus will be a +7.
If you are wearing +8 armor bracers your armor bonus will be a +8.
If you have a +5 docent with reinforced plating (+2) your armor bonus will be a +9.

you're also forgetting the base armor class of 10 in your total.
