Is 18ranger/2monk better then 18ranger/1monk/1fighter, I don't see much the second monk level gives, it gives evasion but you'll get that anyways, so what do you think is better?

2nd lvl monks give you a martial feat and an animal path
1st lvl fighter gives you a feat

1 fighter = +12 HP would be my winner; although if the monk wis +1 is going to bump you another AC that would make sense as well.

1 Rogue. Sneak Attack, Useful Skills (UMD/Disable), Haste Boost
1 Fighter doesn't really do much for you unless you really need 1 more feat. 2 Monk isn't a lot better than 1 monk seeing you'll already have evasion from 9 levels of ranger.
1 Level of Fighter is better than a second level of monk though seeing it gives 1 feat and access to 5 uses of Fighter Haste Boost I per rest as well as a few more HP base and 1 rank of Fighter Toughness enhancement.

2 Monk is better for AC builds. You get your first Class AC increase at level 2 and as was said above, you get a +1 Wis enhancement. With an odd tome, that will give you an extra point of AC over using an even tome and tomes should top out at +5. You also get 7 more hp than Rogue, though not as much as with a Fighter level. Also, getting Evasion early as opposed to level 11 can make the leveling process a lot easier.
But really, 18/ 1 Monk/1 Fighter, 18/1 Monk/ 1 Rogue, and 18/ 2 Monk are all pretty close and Rogue skills and UMD are the biggest differences.
18/1/1 ranger monk fighter = feat, more hp (+12) and attack haste boost
18/1/1 ranger monk rogue = UMD and rogue skills
18/2 ranger monk = feat and more AC (1 or 2 depending on wisdom)
personally I prefer 18/2 ranger monk. At end game quests every point of AC matters.

I'm not going rogue without 32 point builds or a reincarnate, How does that 1 wis give you more AC? can't you just get a +4 wis tome? I know its not cheap but still won't you have cash to spend at higher levels?
Also when I do reincarnate I do plan to do a exploiter type build 18ranger/1monk/1rogue.![]()
+4 Tomes are increadibly rare. And, as far as I know, all of them in the game so far bind to character on aquire outside of a a few tomes that were given out by the Jester. +1 and 2 tomes are available on from the store and +1 tomes are relatively cheap on the AH. +3 are expensive, but unbound tomes do drop. Bound tomes also drop in several of the most popular raids and as 20th rewards.
Also, the limit to tomes in PnP, and probably here, is +5. So for 2 AP, you can make a +1 tome as useful as a more expensive +2. Or a semi-rare but generally obtainable, +3 tome into the equivalent of an almost mythical +4, and you still have the chance to win the lottery and pull a +5. Enhancements are cheap to reset, so it doesn't lock you in to anything either.
Well I didn't hear they binded
So I see the point, but I'm still leaning to fighter, more hp and better feat selection and I won't be as bad when I put on heavy armor for the fun of it.
I got the toon to level 5 ranger, getting tempest then I think 1 monk level and fighter for the IC: Peirce (I haven't checked what it does so feel free to tell me) I just heard I should take it at 8.
