Why can't people carry the basic pots such as lesser restore, blindness, disease, and poison removal, etc.

How many times have you seen this.

Player X: I'm blind cleric can you fix this.

Me: They have pots for that you should always carry them. That's a must carry. The cleric shouldn't have to use his SP on that when you can take care of it on your own.

X: I have blindness goggles so I have no need to get or carry blindness pots.

Me: So why do you need to have the cleric remove you're blindness?

X: Because I took them off for (insert excuse here).

Me: So there is a reason to carry blindness pots.

X: No I have goggles for that I'm not wasting my money on pots.

The funny thing is on my cleric I usually don't carry those spells I carry the pots or wands and use them on said person. So if I can buy those pots and use them on said person why can't they? This p!sses me of to no end. If you're new and can't afford it I can see the problem.

At the low levels this can be very expensive for a new person. When I roll a new toon and send him pots it's usually to the tune of about 150K GP, so I see where that would kill a newb. But when we're running in the vale doing slayer as everyone is going to different areas killing things. That's a way different story.

There is no reason by the time a person is level 10 that they can't carry pots to cure ailments.

OK rant over.
