    Default Themetal Cockroach power build

I have received alot of requests from players who have seen my favored soul for me to post the specifics on here so here it goes:
This build is not your average Favored soul, Starting out it plays like a pally. once you get it up to 12 or higher (9 if you have the plat for heal scrolls) it becomes indestructable. At the moment this toon has 522 hp 2314 sp a permanent 15/adamantine DR self heals for 333 a heal (45sp) 470 on 0% healing amp targets. with this build you can mow through quests that whipe groups of toons the appropriate level. this build will survive everything shy of a direct hit with the beam of light in the genisis point.....

Now i know what your thinking, how can you solo these quests without ever casting a blade barrier, implosion, destruction or banishment? the answer is simple. You dont need instant kills when nothing can kill you in melee. your also not limited to soloing though the option is there for you. you can throw on a healing scepter and keep up with most clerics in the healing game.

If you seek more info about it look up Themetal of Kyber or if your on kyber send a tell or mail and ill help you out or answer your questions or run you through a Sins of attrition. without ever casting a Blade barrier.

Default I have seen this build in action!

This guy really stumbled onto something here, and the first FvS build i have seen that actually uses the capstone as a primary advantage.

He is getting good gear now, focusing on hitpoint gear. But before he had his dragontouch and greensteel, he was still soloing the amrath flag quests. Very impressive. One of the few power builds that is absolutely not gear dependant. This build just goes to show you how the FvS is very over-powered, specially when in combination with WF.

I wouldn't be so jealous of this build's solo capabilities at the end-game, but the fact he can jump in and solo-heal shroud raids just doesn't seem fair! You really get the best of both worlds with this build.

Question , how would you know if the people posting builds stop lvling at 12 .
The odd thread here has people mentioning rerolling a melee fvs to pick up more casing ability.

Next question is why so many points in jump , but none in balance.
I would think every dog trip you and turn you into a chew toy...... a chew toy with 15 DR

take it for what you will, people asked me so its here. and yes i still say most people theory craft because most WF fvs on kyber built the way those builds suggest still cant go toe to toe with most mobs without running through blade barriers. and mine has balance because i did the +2's to all at 7 but the people that asked me to put it up asked for the minimal tomes it absolutely needed

The problem with everyone elses take on this idea is that they try to keep both the tankability and the spell casting. They are hardly as sturdy! Different than the others this is focus on melee and being hit, and not trying to keep up the spell casting capabilities has allowed it to be much tougher. I have seen other WF FvS with builds sorta onto this idea, and they just don't hold up.

Haha, i get a laugh about the replies ppl get on these forums. I was looking over some other posts before this one and it's like there is a patrol of anal-retentive nerds that police every message to criticize and negatively reply. Wonder what would happen if you were positive and encouraged posters?!?!

    Default a few questions

Would you post your spell list?

Does the build really need both Empower Spell and Empower Healing?

Do you miss not having Extend or THF?

Ahh someone else who hasn't looked passed page one of the FvS Forums.

And I am positive and encourage posters guess ya dont pay much attention again.

The only thing I had a prob with was the OP overstating this build as original when there are 3 or 4 Pure WF melee builds(not including casting) on the forums but yet again you have to actually look passed the first page...

i had thf when i built it as i got higher level i found it to be less effective, and as i get more greensteel guards made i will drop the empower for another toughness although being able to solo heal shroud will be lost by losing it as mass cure mod will only do about 80 instead of 140 like it is, and it does have extend the level 15 feat wasnt selected sorry

If you are running a FvS and you have Blade Barrier, why would using said Blade Barrier EVER be a bad thing. I dont care how much melee DPS a FvS build has, Blade Barrier (with a proper casting stat) is more. Also, backpedalling and swinging a 2H sword while kiting through Blade Barrier is even more dps + not getting hit.

    Tactics ftw.

edit: Why someone would bother with empower when their DC stat is 8 is beyond me. Extend would probably get more mileage with the two short duration melee buffs that you will need to keep on at all times. Curious as to why you'd burn a +2 tome to increase a dump stat if you're going for "minimal tomes" as well.

Also, you forgot your level 15 feat.

Even with a 6 wisdom, a max, empowered BB is still very useful.

I'd still like to see your spell selection on this. Though I'm guessing that you're taking mostly heals and buffs, I'm not entirely sure.

Still waiting on that spell list, AND... as a 34 point build, where would you assign the two extra points?

sorry for the delay spells as followed

    1
Divine favor, Remove Fear, Shield of faith, Nightshield

    2
Cure Mod, Lesser resto, Resist energy, Remove paralisis

    3
Aid mass, Protection from energy, magic circle, Remove curse

    4
Mass shield of faith, Divine power, Deathward, Freedom

    5
Protection from elements, Stalwart pact, true seeing, Raise dead

    6
Blade Barrier, Heal, Mass Cure Mod

    7
Mass Protect, Ressurection, Mass Protection from elements

    8
Mass Cure Crit, Mass death Ward, Death Pact

    9
Energy Drain, Mass Heal, Summon Monster 9

Alot of these spells could probly use a swap just never felt a need for the others so never swapped them. and when i TR im thinking of 2 more int. ill most likely pick up intim from what math i gather i can pull off a 45 intim which should be enough for most mobs leaving mostly raid bosses to real tanks.
