Haha you know the way Canadians and the English spell it is exactly like that where as for some reason the US needed to swap the r and e and to use z instead of s for spellings of words such as specialised or in Dark Helmut's 'bastardized'. You even felt the need to change the volume of a gallon for some reason. However I will give it up that Canadians split the difference for some units of measurements for important things like the size of a cup or 36-24-36 in inches vs centimetres.

It is true that Quebec is the only province where English is optional. Still plenty of English speaking people there and plenty of French speaking people elsewhere.

They wish. Back during the last referendum when deciding whether or not to break off from Canada, the natives of the province had their own referendum. They decided by a vote of 98% that should Quebec separate, they would remain with Canada. With all their land guaranteed them by treaties. That actually amounts to a lot of land, including the land around James Bay with all the huge hydro power stations.

There is this sad ancedote re Canada.

They build this huge Rescue Vehicle after the India Tsunami disaster, with an idea to use it as a first responder the next time some 3rd world country needs immediate aid.

So, they spend all this time and money on it, finally roll it out... and discover they cant use it.

Canada doesn't have any airlift capacity.... thats like a Sorc without Haste.
