Default Extend feat - really worth it?

So I had taken Extend upon reading advice in some build creation thread, thought it would be good for Zeal and a couple other spells. Well I've been running with this feat for a couple levels and have found that I only use it for Zeal, as other spells such as DV and SER have plenty long enough duration > 10 minutes each. So unless someone can give me better advice I'm going to swap this feat for something more useful... 17/Pal

If you think it is not worth it, then it is not for you. You shouldnt wait. Trade it in for something you will like better.

Personally I like extend on my pallies for longer Zeal and Divine Favor. I loathe having to recast in the mimddle of a battle - or go without the bonuses.
But some people do just fine without. Seems to be more of a playstyle choice.

So if you really really need another feat instead, I believe you can make do without it if you have to.

Divine Favor and Zeal are both short enough duration to benefit from Extend.

On long duration spells I agree that extend is not needed. However on my DoS I always have zeal, divine favor and angel skin running, all of which are short duration spells and benefit from zeal. However if I was only running with zeal I might drop extend. So you don't use divine favor regularly? That's an easy +3 to hit and damage, essentially the same as having a strength score 6 points higher!
