Grease is almost a necessity for PUGs. Anyone running a Shroud with my bard should take careful note of his bio:

(Party): [To Party] when you see grease, stop to see if you're doing something wrong

On a similar note, if the person the grease was intended for has FoM cast on them preventing them from actually being affected by the grease, it WILL be dispelled.

i've often said it in groups, but i'll say it here to..

there is only one way to correctly apply the grease buff.

select extend, then heighten then cast grease

then sit back and enjoy

oh and for those with FOM on... theres always the awesome buff spell called......BREAK ENCHANTMENT

we dont want ppl missing out on the fun

Heh.. You should also throw a 10 minute hissy while telling the guilty person how they'll never be invited to another run with them or anyone in their alliance, yadda yadda yadda.

You get bonus points if this goads other party members into volunteering to join the master squelch list!

Oh I just told him how its childish and a good way not to get invited to anymore groups. I also told everyone not to put any aoe on harry as it "messes him up" and also used mass heal in the part 5 fight, it doesnt really matter that I had 8 melee and could only hit 6 of em.......

Aaaaahhhhhh.. Good, good.. I see you have all the prereq's covered to lead Shroud pugs on Argonessen, as well.

However, it appears that you left out the speech on "Don't give gh to the dogs, because it makes them break charm sooner"

That's just silly, everyone knows the dogs only break sooner if they get under 50% health.

I was in a PuG a few days back and greased the party bunched up around a door the rogue was trying to pick. Instantly there were 3 confused people yelling, "Trap!" over voice.I started laughing a little, until the conversation CONTINUED to be one of utter confusion, and then it became truly funny: None of them had ever had the spell cast on them, every single one of them was new.Finished it out on hard, repeated the quest on Elite, and the whole party stops at the top of the stairs. "Trap down there, let the rogue go first.", " I can't find the box." Suddenly, people at the top of the stairs are falling, and the thief is apologizing from below.I suggested that the trap may be detecting and targeting voice, and this got things nicely quiet through the next few minutes. I just couldn't believe that none of them had ever seen grease. So in this one instance, my wizzy is a grizzled old convict welcoming the new boys to the dungeon...with some grease.
