Whether it be a small bag earned through favor, or a medium bag bought from one of the vendors, I would make sure to buy one for each of my Toons!

Where can I get one? Did I miss it at one of the vendors somewhere? O.o

As much as I like the idea, I worry it would not help my problem.

Well, closer to 800, really, as you can't see the one I have on the hotkey location. Most of the time, yes, it is a waste of space. But I've played long enough to know that "most of the time" level of supplies only works "most of the time".
I'm that guy that's prepared the rest of the time.
That said, 100 pots won't last even a few hours of normal play, for me at least.
And really, you think this is bad, you should see my cleric. I get nervous if he's under 150 majors and a full bar of scrolls. My record is 700 scrolls and 74 majors in one quest (back in the day, verifying that the Abbot could indeed not be killed without solving the puzzles... someone had to do it so we could be sure)

You folks sure have a lot of money to burn - throw some my way!

PS. /signed for the bag for all those bags as well! :P
Make a difference! Sign these Petitions: Death by Mouse! - Paralyzed! - Static Inventory!
WE DID IT: AH TXT Search!
So, we have collectible bags, gem bags, and ingredient bags...makes sense, so you don't have a bunch of these little items floating around in your inventory, taking up space. We also have quivers, for holding arrows so those don't clutter up your inventory as well.
Now people are suggesting component bags...not a bad idea. Now potion bags? Eh...I dunno. What's next? "Oh, all my clickies and accessories are taking up too much space, I want a bag for them too..." "Oh, I'm a TWF spec and all these weapons are taking up too much space in my inventory, I want a bag for those too..." Soon all our inventory is is a collection of little bags of every color of the rainbow...![]()
Watch them implement this with a stack size of 100![]()
House P, House J, Zawabi's Refuge, the portable hole, and a couple of other places.
Without haggle, I believe they're around 9kpp a stack. A full hagglebard (~80+ haggle) can get them for around 5k. Needless to say, the shop owners know my hagglebard by name.
As far as money goes... keeping stock like that (that's just the tip of the iceberg) on all of my characters used to keep me in the poorhouse. But a hagglebard and higher level quests have made that easier. Well, that and when you get used to buying major mana pots at 8kpp-10kpp a pop, that 5k for a stack of hastes seems downright cheap.
But it gets worse. If people continue asking for bags for their bags, you'll have to search through little bags of little bags of every colour of the rainbow. Imagine how long it would take to even find the item! I think I'd rather just have potions, collectibles etc. all over my inventory and be able to find them without all the layers.![]()
