Default Looking to make a WF Pally Tank

I am trying to build a WF Paladin DoS Tanker but am having some difficulty in figuring out what splits and splashes I should take. Right now I am torn between:

    18 Paladin (DoS)/2 Monk
    18 Paladin (DoS)/2 Rogue
    16 Paladin (DoS)/2 Fighter/2 Rogue

What I am looking towards is 65+ Beholder AC, High intimidate, solid saves, evasion and some decent back-up healing abilities. Is there a big difference between DoS 2 and DoS 3? How would adding fighter and rogue in the max hurt me? Playing around on the planner they seem viable but without end game experience I am a little blind to the consequences.

Your own criteria eliminates 18pal/2monk. No intimidate. The other two would probably need to increase int in order to have enough skill points. Remember you'll need 2 points per level for 18 levels for intimidate. Start level 1 as a rogue.

    DoS3 is +1 AC

I think WF adamantine body counts as heavy armor, so DOS 3 would actually give 2 AC.

It also gives +1 to STR and CON in defensive stance over DOS 2.

It'll take a lot of int to make use of the rogue splash (UMD is where that "backup healing" comes in, pallies just don't have the SP to really use SP for healing, and once you are out of lay on hands, it's heal scrolls or the very slow cure serious wands. The UMD will also let you use reconstruct scrolls and repair wands on yourself.

If you want to take two levels of rogue for evasion, be advised you can't use adamantine body.

One level of rogue and one of fighter would let you get your DOS 3 and unlock UMD and Intimidate and get you an extra feat.. with 14 int you'll qualify for CE, though I do not know if it stacks with defensive stance or not, I don't see why it wouldn't, but I've heard it does not, and I haven't experimented to find out myself.
