Holy jumping grasshoppers of pure good. That is excessive to say the least. No matter how I measure it -- even in terms of opportunity costs -- the price is way too high. Agreed with the idea that all 2+ years VIPs should get (or perhaps even just founders) a greater heart for each 3+ year toons since game mechanics and rule set has changed quite a bit since then. Keep in mind those shards didn't even exist prior to Mod9 and that Syberis Dragon Shards cost either 10K fragments or about 10K plat in the AH. The fact that they jacked it up to 1 Million fragments or 200TPs says a lot about what their revenue strategy is. Originally Posted by Alavatar

Wow, so it will cost me about US$15 to GR my first character because I dared support the game since it was released and rolled him well before 32 point builds were even thought of.
And after paying $15 I still can't even change his alignment (He's a 13/6/1 Rogue/Ranger/Barbarian, picked neutral good when I made him because at the time, alignment really didn't mean much, except for most people being TN to use the uber 'of Stability' items, would have preferred to take a level of monk)
In my opinion, the whole Greater/lesser reincarnation idea needs to be scrapped and just have lesser/+1/+3 reincarnations, then cut the cost of the wood by half or more. Unless they decide to make them drop as super rare drops, at maybe any level, bound to account.
But as someone said, the whole thing looks like a cash grab because the True Reincarnations seem to be selling like hotcakes.
Slightly off topic, has anyone *ever* seen a flawless shard drop in a chest? I think I have seen one exceptional, and a couple of stacks of 5 or 6 normal dragonshards drop.

Honestly Turbine, you should be ashamed of yourself with these prices. Long time paying subscribers deserve a little better treatment IMO.

At least include an option on alignment change. Race, fine, TR for that, but if people are supposed to be able to respec classes they shouldn't be restricted in their class choices because they want to change those 2 monk levels to 2 barb levels.

Imo anything that isn't straight content, is total BS to FORCE us to pay real life $ to use.
Unlike TR, there is no ingame equivalent way of getting the hearts is what really ****es me off.

If all the hearts are added to the 'random' loot table. And can be bought/sold/traded in game.
Those prices aint TOO bad. High prices for rare yet somewhat obtainable items.
But if they're store buy only and bound... Wow... those prices are pretty good example of RIP-OFF!
