Any plans for the cost of +1/+3 reincarnation hearts?

I'm excited to see this go live, but I'm scared about how many points these gems/hearts are going to cost. As a P2P player, I'm personally hoping that a +1 gem is going to cost around 200-300 points and that a +3 gem around 500-600. I'm concerned, though, that they're going to cost upwards of 1000 and 1500 points. That's 2-3 months of points for a VIP and $10-15 for a P2P player. At that price point, I wouldn't ever bother. I'd rather let my broken toons rot than pay $10-$15 to fix them (and still not be able to change their alignment, either).

Just curious to see if you (Turbine) have any initial thoughts that you could share with us prior to it going live.

I don't know, I think I would pay $15 to fix a character rather than spend a month ($15) rerolling her. That's my opinion though.

If the toon doesn't have stockpiles of raid gear, sure. I can't get to cap that fast myself, but then again the incremental cost of a month of play is $0 for P2Pers (myself included).

None of my characters are so broken or useless that I would spend $15 on em to Correct a few things Turbine changed over the years or refocus their skills.

495 for an extra Character slot.... I'd rather do that.....

Something that should have been in the game a long time ago shouldn't cost a VIP player $15. I have a fighter/ranger that I would like to lesser reincarnate. Took fighter most of the way and took the TWF feats as fighter. Then took 6 of ranger for tempest. Using Fred is not an option. Too many feats and time in between swaps... Greater down to TWF, then back up.

Let the VIP monthly points (500) be enough to cover the "cost" of the lesser & greater reincarnation heart.

I was indeed hoping the cost was less than a TR, I am not sure how much that costs at the moment. However, I do think there is a lot to be said for saving the tim e of the TR even if there are more build points involved.

I am confused by your comment about raid gear Gol. Could you expand on that. All resurrected characters retain gear.

Then there is the fact that a lesser/greater reincarnate keeps consumed tome stat points, whereas a TR does not.

If a char doesn't have a lot of raid gear or tomes,the cheaper option is always a reroll I guess

The price before they were put on sale was in the 1300-1500 range, I expect that's where it will land, similar to TR, which will all know is selling like crazy.

I took your first reply to mean "delete and reroll", not a true reincarnation. I don't have the time to TR my toons, the curve is just too steep. I did it once already, and got him to level 16 in 2 months for which there was +20% for half of it. I might be able to take a non-TR toon from 0-20 in 2 months, but that would require playing more than I have time to.

Case in point is my first character and namesake, Gol. 3 bank tabs of raid loot not counting what he wears. 28 point broken-ass build, and leveling him to 20 just to TR is completely out of the question. I want to respec his class levels and change his alignment. As a here-since-headstart character, I'd like to think I ought not have to pay anything to fix him, let alone $5/10/15 to do it and still not be able to change alignment.

Honestly Turbine, you should be ashamed of yourself with these prices. Long time paying subscribers deserve a little better treatment IMO.

At least include an option on alignment change. Race, fine, TR for that, but if people are supposed to be able to respec classes they shouldn't be restricted in their class choices because they want to change those 2 monk levels to 2 barb levels.

It's probably not going to be here until the next anniversary anyway (like MOD 9 was?)

I am only really looking forward to the changes to VON personally, reincarnations are just too expensive and its just plain annoying losing your appearance and all your hotbar positions.

well my opinion is yes to expensive but.....i dont now why any vip is whining....wat have you spend your points on??GOl stop buying hair dyes and clothes to put on the sucubus and maybe youde have a big stockpile of points......
