You should clearly vendor them all...just let my bard know so he can go buy most of them for a pitence!

    General hint:

When i put something up in the AH, i look what is currently up and roughly comparable. Then i cut their buyout by 20-30%, and with a starting bid of again 20-30% of my own buyout.

Most stuff sells. Some per buyout, some per minbid.

    Just remember:
Stuff thats stays in the AH for long is overpriced. If it would have been underpriced it would already have been bought. So always cut the prices you see.

Here is my pricing and marketing strategy for you:

+4 Keen Shortsword of Greater Construct Bane (ML12, RR:Halfling, UMD22)
Any GCB will eventually sell, AH for 250k gp

    +5 Holyburst Greataxe (ML16)
No toon at level 16 is without greensteel, but if you keep relisting you will find a buyer that is farming ING

+5 Flaming Burst Greataxe of Pure Good (ML14)
AH this for 150k gp its good for a person without much means

+5 Holy Handaxe of Pure Good (ML14)
This will sell, possibly 300k gp

+5 Icy Burst Handaxe of Righteousness (ML14)
    Vendor

+2 Holyburst Shortbow of Pure Good (ML12)
This will sell to some starving F2P person, AH for 150k gp

+1 Holyburst Dagger of Pure Good (ML10)
This will sell to another F2P that needs an offhand weapon ... maybe 100k gp

+1 Maladroit Heavy Mace of Weighted (5%, ML16)
Vendor, or keep relisting to find that one person that loves weighted ... 150k gp (very low probability tho)

+4 Icy Burst Composite Shortbow of Righteousness (ML12)
Again a F2P would enjoy this one, 100k-150kgp max

+4 Frost Longsword of Greater Construct Bane (ML14)
GCB will sell, I would put it between 75k and 150k gp (prolly wouldnt get over 100k gold tho)

+5 Sacred Mithral Breastplate of Lesser Fire Resistance (ML12)
+5 mithril will definitely sell, I find these run hot and cold, I would stick to your guns on it and you can get 500k gp after a series of reposts

+5 Heavy Wooden Shield of Greater Fire Resistance (ML16, RR:Human, UMD26)
    vendor

You must be joking, a level 18 Bard that cant afford 250,000 gold ... not PLAT. You can make 1 million gold in just a few trips thru the shroud.

    Secret:

Loot all of the chests in the Shroud.

Go to a broker. Weapon and armor brokers are readily available in the Inspired Quarter, clothing and jewelry in the Marketplace. This is not the only place to find them, just the most convenient.

You should have approximately 15 items after that Shroud run. Most of them will be vendor trash. Go ahead and load them up into the sell tab but don't sell yet.

Boost your Haggle as much as possible. Competence bonuses from items, Enhancement bonuses to Charisma, Luck bonuses to skills (Voice of the Master/Head of Good Fortune), Circumstance bonuses to skills (Focusing Chant), morale bonuses to skills (Greater Heroism) and miscellaneous bonuses such as the human versatility skill boost, a Shroud charisma skills item and others if you have them.

Now hit the sell button. Repeat for the other brokers until you sold all your vendor trash.

A bard should get 250k gold off a single run. Other characters might need 2, due to lower Haggle.

There are certainly items that are too expensive for this game but one that costs 25k plat and gives a good cost/benefit ratio is not it.

    Now back on topic.

+4 Keen Shortsword of Greater Construct Bane (ML12, RR:Halfling, UMD22)

The problem with this weapon is the useless property (constructs cannot be critically hit, no point in Keen) combined with the race restriction. End result is it's the same level as plain +4 shortsword of GCB but the race restriction can get in the way. It probably won't, but this does reduce its value substantially, since like most games the virtual item economy is very perfect oriented.

    +5 Holyburst Greataxe (ML16)

This is actually a very nice weapon. The only problem with it is that most level 16 characters will have a tier 2 Greensteel by then which is just better. Even a tier 1 might be better. That hurts it a bit.

+5 Flaming Burst Greataxe of Pure Good (ML14)

This is a nice combo, and the lower level ensures it still has some use. Problem is at level 14 pure good is used more for the good alignment vs damage reduction than for the 1d6 damage (though that too is nice). Well what has DR/Good in that level range? Devils. And devils are immune to fire. But against other stuff, it's nice.

+5 Holy Handaxe of Pure Good (ML14)

Very nice property combo, but weak weapon type.

+5 Icy Burst Handaxe of Righteousness (ML14)

    Meh.

+2 Holyburst Shortbow of Pure Good (ML12)

    It's a bow. Yeah.

+1 Holyburst Dagger of Pure Good (ML10)

See earlier comment about nice properties, weak weapon type. Though this one is still fairly nice for a Rogue or something that is not so dependent on base weapon damage.

+1 Maladroit Heavy Mace of Weighted (5%, ML16)

I forgot if Maladroit is the 1d6 dex damage on a crit or the 1 damage on a hit. Not too shabby though.

+4 Icy Burst Composite Shortbow of Righteousness (ML12)

    Meh.

+4 Frost Longsword of Greater Construct Bane (ML14)

A nicer GCB weapon. Not too bad at all.

+5 Sacred Mithral Breastplate of Lesser Fire Resistance (ML12)

On the bright side, it's a +5 mithril breastplate. However it's four levels higher than it normally would be.

+5 Heavy Wooden Shield of Greater Fire Resistance (ML16, RR:Human, UMD26)

    Meh.

I mostly agree with bcgone's pricing, except that I would reverse the prices for the GCB weapons so that the longsword is the pricier one, don't think the shortbows will sell for more than broker prices, and think the axes would sell for a bit more than that.

Thank you for all the wonderful information..

I have never gotten 20 items from a run.. I usually d-door out after final battle so I don't get the final chest which may be the difference.

I usually use the house-d brokers for weapons, house-k for armor, and market for all other stuff..

I have a 61 haggle.. maybe your haggle is better then mine..

Are there quest to help the broker price for inspired quarter like the other brokers?

Guess I need to spend more time deciding prices because if I am in a rush I usually just put up the items for the suggested price which I believe is the base value?
When they come back to my mailbox I dump them at the brokers.

Please let me know what I am doing wrong..

    Thanks

If you do not get the final chests you will be down about 2 items. I'm also just counting the vendor trash here. If you find something that can be AHed off you can get a lot more, and if you sell any of the ingredients you pull you can easily get far more than that.

If you have a 61 haggle I am bewildered as to how you do not get better results than me.

My sucky haggle: 4 base (had extra skill points at level 1) + 2 charisma (8 base and +6 item) + 15 competence + 4 morale (GH) + 1 luck (VotM) + 3 unnamed (Shroud tier 2 item) + 5 unnamed (human boost) = 34. This is not a bard obviously, my bard manages similar numbers despite not being haggle based and being 9 levels lower with worse gear.

I get about 3-4k plat PER junk weapon, and about half that per junk armor. Remember 250k gold is only 25k plat.

Don't think so. And there's some guides around that will help but this is really getting off topic.
